SYRACUSE, January 3, 2017 -- Syracuse Community Health Center, a Federally Qualified Health Center serving the greater Syracuse area, today announced that Jennifer R. Bolster has joined the organization as its Chief Policy and Government Affairs Officer and Corporate Compliance Officer. Ms. Bolster has extensive experience with healthcare organizations, having practiced as a health lawyer in the Central New York area since 2004. She also brings in-depth institutional knowledge of the Center having served as its legal counsel for the past decade.

Jennifer’s legal and healthcare background makes her ideally suited for this challenge.”
Previously, Ms. Bolster was a partner with Hancock Estabrook in Syracuse, NY representing numerous healthcare institutions across the region. Ms. Bolster focused her practice on advising hospitals, nursing homes, diagnostic and treatment centers, physicians, and physician practices on all aspects of health law including compliance, governance, affiliations/joint ventures and patient care matters. She will remain of counsel at Hancock Estabrook, providing specialized legal advice on health care issues. Her appointment represents a return to Syracuse Community Health Center as she previously served as in-house counsel for the Center and its former Medicaid Managed Care company, Total Care, for the year 2007. Ms. Bolster received her Doctor of Law degree from Boston College.
